his way through the performance in grand Groucho style!

Accompanied by his pianist, Jim Furmston, Ferrante adlibs his way through 90 minutes of Groucho’s classic material, including songs such as “Hooray for Captain Spaulding” and “Lydia The Tattooed Lady”, as he reacquaints the audience
with the likes of brothers Harpo, Chico, Zeppo and Gummo, plus Charlie
Chaplin, W.C. Fields, Greta Garbo and many others. This delightful show
is perfect for all ages!
Ferrante has devoted a significant portion of his show business career to Groucho. He played the Groucho role in the off-Broadway revival of "The Cocoanuts" and has played Captain Spalding in several productions of "Animal Crackers," winning a Connecticut Critics Circle Award for his portrayal at the famed Goodspeed Opera House and a Helen Hayes nomination in Washington D.C. at the Arena Stage.
His other regional theater roles include Max Prince in Neil Simon’s "Laughter on the 23rd Floor" at Philadelphia’s Walnut Street Theatre, a production he also directed; George S. Kaufman in "By George," a one-man play he wrote; Tom in the farce "Perfect Wedding;" Oscar in "The Odd Couple" and leads in "The Sunshine Boys", "Lady in the Dark" and "Anything Goes".
Frank Ferrante's "An Evening Groucho" takes
the stage at 2 pm on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at the Don Whitney
Auditorium on the Tillamook High School Campus in Tillamook.
